JULY 2021 Update
Under the framework of the project “Caritas Nepal COVID-19 Response Project 2021”, a joint effort with Catholic Relief Service (CRS), Caritas Nepal provided medical item support to Patan Hospital in Lalitpur on July 22 2021.

At present, Caritas is implementing two significant projects entitled “COVID-19 Response Project 2021” and “COVID-19 Second Wave Emergency Response Program” targeting hospitals from urban as well as remote locations of Nepal.
These projects aim to facilitate and assist 20 hospitals from 14 districts with Oxygen Cylinder, Oxygen Concentrator, Pulse Oximeter, Ventura Face Masks, PPE SETs including isolation gowns, face shield, shoe cover, safety goggles, surgical head cap, heavy duty gloves, Surgical Masks, Surgical Gloves and Hand sanitizers.
Additional, Medical Tent, Hospital Bed, PCR Testing Kits, VTM Kits, Extraction Kits, Portable suction machine, Nebulizer machine, Ambu Bags, Thermometer, Hand Held Pulse Oximeter, Reservoir Bag Mask, Nasal Cannula, Gum Boot were also supported as per the requirement.
Similarly, medical supplies were supported in Charikot District Hospital, Dolakha and Dhusunne Shiwalaya Prathamik Hospital, Kavre respectively on 21st and 22nd July, 2021.
In Chitwan, CN handed over health material items to Sharadanagar COVID hospital and Shivanagar COVID hospital in presence of Ward chairperson, former member of Parliament, hospital chief, health workers and local medias.
Caritas Nepal with joint effort of international partners and Health Service providers continuously battling against the crisis caused by pandemic through medical support and food relief distribution in target locations of Nepal.

40 vulnerable families consisting single mothers, elderly, people living with disabilities and toddlers were supported with food relief package today in Godawari municipality ward-14 with support of Missio Munchen on 25th July 2021.
