Intending to introduce and orient on the basic principles and core humanitarian standard through the use of new sphere handbook during emergency response we conducted 4 days Training on sphere standards and its implementation in humanitarian action from 11-14 September, 2019.

The training has been conducted under the programme entitled “European Asian Partnership for Building Capacities in Humanitarian Action” (PEACH II), which is consortium program of Caritas Austria, Caritas Czech Republic, Caritas Romania, Caritas Nepal, Caritas India, Caritas Pakistan Caritas Myanmar, Caritas Philippines, Caritas Bangladesh, Caritas Indonesia and Caritas Mongolia.

The project has been designed to enhance the technical and operational capacities of Caritas organization in humanitarian and volunteer management. CN has been providing training on sphere standard and its implementation in humanitarian response to the local partner organizations.

The training was attended by 19 participants from 13 partner organizations of different disaster prone districts which will help us and them to improve the quality of assistance provided to people affected by disasters and the accountability of the humanitarian system in their disaster.

Expression of Interest (EoI) for Concept Note Development of "BPP's Calls"

Caritas Nepal is seeking for individuals & organizations to develop concept note on BPP’s calls (attached guideline) called by DFAT. The details about calls, assignments, and methodology are mentioned in TOR/guiding questions can be downloaded from Caritas Nepal’s website or from the link provided below.

Interested consulting firms and individuals having previous experiences and meeting other knowledge and expertise are requested to send emails with their documents including their proposal, budgeting and CV at Caritas Nepal, Dhobighat, Lalitpur by 22nd  October 2020 during office hours.

Interested evaluators (firm/consultants/individuals) are requested to apply with their expression of interest showing past experiences in similar work and proposed approach to deliver this assignment within 22nd October 2020.

Please refer to Terms of Reference (ToR)/guiding question in this link: Proposals should be mailed to within 22nd October 2020 before 17:00 hrs. The EOI received after the deadline will not be considered.
