With the vision of creating peaceful, equitable and just society, where there is solidarity among people and respect for human dignity, Caritas Nepal works on the sectors of social justice and community development, disaster risk management, sustainable livelihoods, migrants, refugee and anti-trafficking, emergency and recovery supports as well as advocacy on social concerns.

CN invites eligible applications from qualified Nepali citizens for the following position under the Food Security and Resilient Project (FSRP) -Khatyad, Mugu. The project aims to increase food security and climate resilience of more than 600 smallholder farmers in ward 3, 5 and 6 of Khatyad Rural Municipality in Mugu district.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Completion of Intermediate (+2) level education with a minimum of one year of experience in agriculture and livelihood -related projects. Technical qualification in Agriculture will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in remote areas (preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in such areas)
• Strong adaptability and resilience in dynamic working environments.
• Ability to facilitate positive change and foster healthy working relationships within teams and communities.
• Proactive in knowledge-sharing and continuous learning
• Excellent coordination and communication skills 
• Proficiency in event report writing in both English and Nepali, along with strong documentation skills
• Having a valid two-wheeler driving license will be an add advantage.
• Preference will be given to local residents
